How It All Started (A Cautionary Tale)
It was a cold, rainy day. I had a free weekend, a YouTube rabbit hole, and absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. One bottle of resin, one cup of pigment, and one very ruined kitchen table later — I was hooked.
What started as a hobby quickly became a creative obsession. I started experimenting with candles when the resin fumes needed a break (kidding — mostly. Candles actually came first.). Then soap happened. Then I ran out of counter space and didn't want my husband to divorce me (absolutely kidding, he's so supportive of all my wacky ways.) so Pour Choices was born.
Every piece I make is one-of-a-kind. No real plans, no shortcuts, no two pours ever look the same. I have yet to meet a medium I didn't want to pour, melt, and color! You won't find the same things other creators make here. So if you're looking for a beautiful ocean wave bread board, you won't find that. BUT, if you're really craving a true-to-life resin ice cream sundae, or a candle that looks and smells like a box of donuts... Well, then I'm your gal!
From My Pour to Your Door
Here's a peek at how the magic (and the mess) happens.
Mix & Pour
Resin, pigments, and a whole lot of intention. Every pour is different — that's the beauty of it.
Wait (The Hard Part)
Good things take time. Resin cures for 24–72 hours before it's touched, sanded, or finished.
Sand & Polish
Hours of sanding bring out the glass-like finish. It's meditative. It's also very dusty.
Pack with Love
Every order is wrapped by hand, packed with care, and shipped with a little note from me.
